Here's how I function.

I don’t ask for advice, I just expect it to be there when I need it most. I don’t like being told what to do, I just like tips on how to do it. But all I need 24/7 is support. Support on whatever decision I think is “good”. Because obviously I wouldn’t pursue a bad one. If I think one of my decisions is right for me, then please have my back. That’s all I ask from a friend.
